Homophobia: this is the fear of
LGBT(lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) which leads to
expressing the emotions in negative comments or violence. Homophobia
happens in a diverse community because there are a lot of LGBT people in
different communities. There are many people that have different sexuality preferences in a community and many people that are against it which sometimes may lead into a disagreement between the two, meaning it may lead into something serious therefore the police service might be needed to prevent any crime from happening.
Sexism:
this is gender discrimination, it can affect any gender but it mostly
affects women or girls. This happens in a diverse community because
sexism is sometimes used in jobs for example mechanics. Because certain people take sexism really seriously and cause problems about it which may lead to serious disagreements and the police services might have to be involved.
Racism:
this is where a specific individual is against a religion or culture
therefore negative comments are being used against someone that believes
in a different religion or culture.This is used in a diverse community
because there are many different cultures and religions in one community. Because the community is so diverse with the ethnic groups a lot of racism is going on which tends to be really serious and end up in violence and the paramedics are often involved in the situations.
Disability: this is
where a certain individual is limited to a movements, sense or activities
because of their mental or physical condition. A disability may be
present from birth occur during a persons lifetime for example in an
accident. There are many disabled people in a diverse community which
makes it diverse. In a community there are people with disabilities which sometimes may lead into problems and something serious might end up happening therefore the paramedics once again might have to be involved in certain situations.
